This research article analyzes the intersectional experiences of college-going Latinas regarding their desires for socioeconomic and spatial mobility, focusing on how gender and sexuality shape their understanding of mobility. Through interviews with 31 Latinas, the authors find that while these women view college as a pathway to upward mobility, their aspirations are also intertwined with desires for gender and sexual freedom.
