This study evaluates the effectiveness of toe-to-finger transfers (TFTs) for reconstructing hands that have lost all fingers due to traumatic injuries. Out of 12 transfers performed on 8 patients, 11 survived, with significant improvements in hand function, sensation, and patient satisfaction reported. Although the transferred toes functioned at a lower capacity than normal fingers, the hands became useful and versatile, allowing patients to perform daily activities and return to work.
