What is Mantu and His Elephant Opie about?

Mantu lived in a village deep in the jungle where elephants helped the men with their work. Mantu had a baby elephant named Opie that he loved very much. Mantu whispered to Opie that someday he would become the biggest, strongest elephant in the jungle. The other elephants laughed at this since Opie was still small. However, Mantu tricked the elephants into thinking there were snakes nearby, causing them to run away in fright. Mantu and Opie then returned home to the village.
