This study investigated the correlation between depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, and psychopathy in 25 prisoners in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Beck Depression and Anxiety Inventories and the Hare Psychopathy Scale were used to collect data through individual interviews. A statistically significant correlation was found between depression and anxiety. Total psychopathy score did not correlate with anxiety but did correlate with depression.
