This study examines the immediate effects of ankle balance taping (ABT) with kinesiology tape on the dynamic balance of young male soccer players suffering from functional ankle instability (FAI). Results indicate that real-ABT significantly improved dynamic balance in terms of anterior, posteromedial, and posterolateral reach distances compared to no- and placebo-ABT conditions. The findings suggest that kinesiology tape can enhance dynamic balance without restricting ankle movement.
