Can I read Freemasonry on EtoBox?

Freemasonry by Jonathan Photius is a document available to read on EtoBox.

What is Freemasonry about?

The document summarizes an official 1933 statement by the Church of Greece regarding Freemasonry. The statement finds that Freemasonry is not just a philanthropic or philosophical group, but a mystagogical system descended from ancient pagan mystery religions. It has its own temples, rituals, hierarchy, and religious ceremonies modeled after those ancient religions. The Church of Greece therefore views Freemasonry as a separate and alien religion incompatible with Christianity.
