What is Dentin Preservation in Endodontic Access Designs about?

This study evaluates the impact of different access cavity designs combined with WaveOne Gold and TruNatomy instrumentation on the preservation of pericervical dentin in extracted human mandibular molars. Results indicate that conservative access cavity designs lead to better preservation of remaining dentin thickness and volume compared to traditional designs. The findings highlight the importance of cavity design in maintaining tooth structure during endodontic procedures.
