What is Mastering the Erdnase Bottom Deal about?

This document describes the Erdnase bottom deal technique. It involves holding the deck between the middle finger and thumb and stepping the bottom portion of cards to the left and top portion to the right to mask the deal. The bottom card is dislodged using the ring finger and taken by the right hand in one smooth motion underneath while the left thumb slides the top card back over. The process is quickened by moving the bottom card as the top is pushed over.
