HodgeRank: Statistical Ranking Method by Shashank Dwivedi is a document available to read on EtoBox.

What is HodgeRank: Statistical Ranking Method about?

The document introduces HodgeRank, a novel statistical ranking technique that utilizes combinatorial Hodge theory to analyze incomplete and imbalanced datasets common in e-commerce and internet applications. It constructs pairwise rankings as edge flows on graphs and decomposes these flows to identify global rankings and inconsistencies within the data. The method offers advantages over traditional ranking approaches by simplifying computations and providing insights into the reliability of the rankings obt
