About this document
Fog Water Collection in Southern Colombia by Andrés Mauricio Cortés Arce is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document summarizes a study on fog collection variability in the Andean mountain range of southern Colombia. 12 fog collectors were installed between 1,680-1,850 meters above sea level to evaluate spatial and temporal variability. Results showed high potential for fog to meet rural water needs. Average annual collection was 4.2 liters/m2/day for precipitation and fog, and 3.3 liters/m2/day for fog only. The most collection occurred in June at 5.3 liters/m2/day for precipitation and fog, and 5 liters/m2
