Mount Iraya is an active volcano on Batan Island in the Philippines province of Batanes, and is the highest point in the province. The Tayid Lighthouse located in Mahatao, Batanes was built in the early 2000s and serves as both a navigational aid for seafarers and a tourist attraction. Though some believe it to be an 18th century structure, the Tayid Lighthouse is a modern lighthouse constructed in the early 2000s along with others to help ships navigate the risky waters surrounding Batan Island.
