According to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health report from March 10, 2020, there were 92 confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 in the state. The majority of cases (70) were among Biogen employees and contacts in Middlesex County, with smaller numbers related to travel (4) or still under investigation (18). Most patients (62) had not required hospitalization, while 6 had been hospitalized and the status of 24 was still under investigation.
