Hilary Bernstein conducted a science fair project to determine what factors affect the acidity of rain. Over 14 rains from October to January, Hilary collected rainwater samples and measured factors like wind, time since last rain, and whether it was rush hour. Hilary found that rain was more acidic when it was windy, during rush hour, after just two days without rain, and when over 25ml of rain fell.
