About this document
Efficacy of Releasable Sutures in Trabeculectomy by Nauman Majeed is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study compares the efficacy of releasable sutures versus conventional interrupted sutures in trabeculectomy for glaucoma patients. Results showed that the group with releasable sutures had a lower incidence of hypotony and shallow anterior chamber, as well as better long-term intraocular pressure control and bleb scores. The findings suggest that releasable sutures are an effective method to enhance outcomes without additional costs.
