The Covid-19 Integrated Quarantine and Treatment Centre (PKRC) at MAEPS in Serdang, Malaysia, will officially close on February 8 after 14 months of operations due to declining patient numbers and high operating costs. The last group of patients has already been discharged, and while MAEPS PKRC 2.0 is closing, other PKRCs will remain operational across the country. The decision to close was made by the National Disaster Management Agency in coordination with the Health Ministry.
