Here are the steps to find the reverberation time of my studio: 1. Measure the dimensions of the studio space to calculate the volume. My studio is 10m long x 5m wide x 3m high. So the volume is 10 x 5 x 3 = 150 cubic meters. 2. Calculate the total surface area of walls, floor and ceiling using their individual surface area formulas. Walls: 2 x (10m x 3m) + 2 x (5m x 3m) = 120 sqm Ceiling: 10m x 5m = 50 sqm Floor: 10m x 5m = 50 sqm Total surface area = 120 + 50 + 50 = 220 sqm
