This research investigates the effectiveness of using Chemsketch and PowerPoint in teaching the molecular shape of hydrocarbons to enhance student achievement. Results from a quasi-experimental study conducted at SMAN 5 Medan show that students using Chemsketch had higher post-test scores and a greater percentage of passing students compared to those taught with conventional methods. The findings suggest that integrating technology in education can significantly improve student understanding and engagement
