This study presents the development of a sensitive electrochemical sensor using a CuS-modified carbon paste electrode (CPE) for hydrazine detection in water samples. The sensor demonstrated enhanced electrooxidation performance with a linear response to hydrazine concentrations ranging from 0.06 to 270.0 μM and a low detection limit of 0.02 μM. The CuS/CPE exhibited good stability, reproducibility, and selectivity against various potential interferences, making it effective for real sample analysis.
