What is SAARC: Establishment, Achievements, Limitations about?

SAARC was established in 1985 to promote economic and social progress in South Asia. It has 8 member countries and several observer countries. While it has facilitated some trade agreements and cultural cooperation, SAARC faces limitations like domination by India, political differences between members, and lack of infrastructure for trade. China seeks to join SAARC to gain economic benefits, but its membership could also undermine the influence of smaller members.
