What is Balochistan Increases DSC Financial Powers about?
The Planning and Development Department of the Government of Balochistan has enhanced the financial powers of the Departmental Sub Committee (DSC) from 5 million rupees to 10 million rupees for approving development schemes. Development schemes beyond the new 10 million rupee limit will be processed through the Provincial Development Working Party. The Additional Chief Secretary (Development) of Balochistan notified this change in financial powers with immediate effect on November 25, 2008.
