Grade 310 stainless steel is designed for high temperature service up to 1150°C in reducing environments or intermittent service up to 1040°C. Grade 310S has a lower carbon content (<0.03%) and is used in applications with lower temperatures or corrosive environments like urea production. Both grades have excellent toughness and ductility. Their main elements are chromium (24-26%) and nickel (19-22%).
