Fixation of DRUJ in Distal Radius Fractures by عبدالملك الملا is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates whether fixation of the distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ) is necessary following volar plate fixation of distal radius fractures with unstable DRUJ. A retrospective review of 49 patients showed no significant differences in outcomes between those who had DRUJ fixation and those who did not, with both groups achieving similar functional results. The findings suggest that DRUJ fixation may not provide additional benefits in preventing instability after distal radius fracture treatment.
