About this document
Understanding Diodes and Semiconductors by serkan1234 is a document available to read on EtoBox.
These diodes are operating in their forward biased region. In the forward biased region: - The anode is connected to the positive terminal and the cathode is connected to the negative terminal of the voltage source. - Current flows easily from the p-type to the n-type material (from anode to cathode). - The voltage drop across the diode is around 0.7V. So in summary, these diodes are operating in their low-resistance forward biased region which allows current to flow from anode to cathode.
