What is Isaiah about?

God calls out to complacent women who are at ease and not concerned about the immorality in society. He tells them to rise up, listen to his voice, and be troubled, as within a year and a few days they will experience trouble when the Assyrian king Sennacherib lays siege to Jerusalem in 701 BC. God wants these women to mourn over the coming judgment and strip off comfortable clothes, putting on sackcloth to show they understand judgment is coming for an unrepentant people.
