About this document
Lever Rule Computation for Beams by Anonymous pD2ymRUgu is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document provides two examples of calculating the lever rule for beam reactions. In the first example, it calculates the reaction (R) for an exterior beam when one lane or two lanes are loaded. With one lane, R=1.275P, and with two lanes, R=1.375P. The second example calculates R for an interior beam with one, two, or three lanes loaded. With one lane, R=0.975P, with two lanes R=1.375P, and with three lanes R=1.275P. The largest reaction in each case determines the distribution factor.
