What is High-Temperature Epoxy for Stator Impregnation about?
Epoxylite 234 is a two-component epoxy resin designed for fast impregnation of electrical motor windings at high temperatures. It has a low viscosity when mixed and can cure at 55°C, allowing for impregnation of tight windings. It provides outstanding electrical and thermal properties with a decomposition temperature of 580°F and protects against coil failure from vibration, shock, or contamination. The resin has a long shelf life when stored properly and involves mixing parts A and B in a 100:20 ratio.
