What is Pine Marten Immobilization Study about?
This study evaluated medetomidine-ketamine immobilization and atipamezole reversal in six captive pine martens over three experiments. The drug combinations induced complete immobilization with good muscle relaxation and loss of reflexes. Side effects included hypothermia, bradycardia, and bradypnea, but all animals recovered fully.
