This study compared clear water recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) and biofloc-based systems for culturing Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). Water quality parameters like ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels differed between the two systems. Growth and survival rates were higher in clear water.
