This document describes a lab experiment to construct a single phase full wave midpoint converter circuit using SCRs. The objectives were to observe the voltage waveform across the load and measure the load current, gate current, conduction angle, and firing angle as the firing angle was varied from 0 to 180 degrees. Key components included thyristors, diodes, a transformer, and resistors. Observations showed that the peak-to-peak voltage and currents decreased as the firing angle increased from 0 to 114.6
