What is Overview of Organism Cloning and Dolly about?

Organism cloning refers to creating a new multicellular organism that is genetically identical to another through artificial reproductive cloning. Dolly was the first mammal cloned from an adult somatic cell using nuclear transfer. She was cloned by scientists at the Roslin Institute in Scotland and was born in 1996, living until age six and becoming famous worldwide as the first cloned sheep. However, Dolly was not the first animal cloned as a Xenopis laevis frog had been cloned prior to Dolly.
