What is Apology for Desk Delivery Delay about?

The letter is an apology to Mr. John for the non-delivery of two desks, explaining that the delay was due to an overload of orders on a flash sale day which caused a data processing error. The company is working to resolve the issue and expects to prioritize his order within two days. As compensation, they are offering a 15% discount on the total order to regain his trust.
