What is Bianor aemulus: Taxonomy and Classification about?

This document proposes moving the spider species Sassacus aemulus to the genus Bianor based on similarities in its palpus and epigynum to Bianor aurocinctus. It presents evidence from the morphology of their genitalia and courtship displays that S. aemulus and B. aurocinctus are congeneric. The type species of Bianor, B. maculatus, is also examined and found to not exclude a relationship. Therefore, S. aemulus is renamed to Bianor aemulus, making it the only known Nearctic species of Bianor.
