What is Awako: Outdoor Game for Groups about?

The game of Awako involves a central area and two side areas divided by rectangles within a 40x20m space. One player is designated as the hen in one side area and calls the other players, or chicks, in the opposite side area to run across the central area where the falcon player waits to catch as many chicks as possible before they reach the hen. The game lasts 5-10 minutes, with caught chicks eliminated until the end. Variations allow caught chicks to also become falcons and help in further catches.
