A spectroscopic study of the X̃4Σg− (ν=4–6) levels of C2+ using the stimulated emission pumping technique by F.G. Celii; J.P. Maier is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.
What is A spectroscopic study of the X̃4Σg− (ν=4–6) levels of C2+ using the stimulated emission pumping technique about?
Stimulated emission pumping (SEP) spectroscopy was used to characterize vibrationally excited levels (u= 4-6) of the X ?8; ground electronic state of Cc. Rotationally resolved B 42; +??Zg transitions were detected by observation of a decrease in the total laser-excited fluorescence (LEF) signal from the B 'E; (v' = 2) level. In order to obtain the SEP spectra, a modulation scheme which discriminated against one-photon fluorescence signals was successfully employed. The SEP line positions were used together with those from a previous LEF study to improve the molecular constants of the jz %g state of CT.
