Tomisaki has shown that the comparability of two Dirichlet forms implies estimates for the //-Z^-norms of the corresponding sub-Markovian semigroup. We use this result to derive such estimates for semigroups which are associated to a certain class of pseudo diferential operators. We explicitly treat two classes of examples of Dirichlet forms, one leading to estimates for the semigroup depending on a power of the time parameter, the other leading to a more general behaviour. Moreover, we prove that these semigroups are conservative.
