1. Launch GIMP and create a new 1024x768 image for the custom mask. 2. Use the Paths tool to draw the outline of the mask shape using points and lines. Select the path to turn it into a selection. 3. Fill the selected area outside the path with black using the Bucket Fill tool to create the mask, then export it as a PNG file to the VPT project folder for use in VPT.
