Can I read Soft phonon and bismuth content in ferroelectric SrBi2Ta2O9 on EtoBox?

Soft phonon and bismuth content in ferroelectric SrBi2Ta2O9 by Seiji Kojima; Itaru Saitoh is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Soft phonon and bismuth content in ferroelectric SrBi2Ta2O9 about?

The influence of Bi content on the ferroelectric phase transition of SrBi Ta O was examined by Raman scattering. The soft modes in Sr \V Bi >V Ta O (x"!0.05, 0, 0.05) depend strongly on Bi content. The damping factor of the soft mode decreases markedly with the increase of bismuth content. The microscopic origin of the change of damping is discussed by the exchange between the Sr and the Bi sites. The temperature dependence of the soft mode indicates that Bi-excess stabilizes the ferroelectric phase as predicted by the recent theoretical calculation of the electronic structure.
