What is TENs Vulvodinea about?

This feasibility study evaluated the effectiveness of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) as an additional treatment for women with therapy-resistant provoked vestibulodynia (PVD). Results indicated that TENS significantly reduced vulvar pain and the need for vestibulectomy, with improvements in sexual functioning and personal distress observed post-treatment. The findings support the use of TENS as a beneficial component in the multidimensional management of chronic pain associated with PVD.
