This study analyzed the culling rate of 508 Icelandic horses over 5 years based on their radiographic and clinical signs of bone spavin from an earlier survey. The horses were categorized based on radiographic signs, lameness after flexion testing, or both. Hind limb lameness was the most common reason for culling.
