About this document
IEM Journal: Renewable Energy Insights by Anonymous heobCWO is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document discusses using anaerobic digestion of organic municipal solid waste to generate renewable energy in Mauritius. Anaerobic digestion is proposed as a way to solve waste management, renewable energy, and greenhouse gas emission issues. A proposed facility would treat 100,000 tons of organic waste annually to produce 32 GWh of electricity and 40.3 GWh of thermal energy. 25% of the electricity would power the facility, with 75% sold to the local grid. The digestate could also be composted and sold
