This study investigates the use of two-dimensional NbSSe nanoplates as anode materials for low-temperature sodium-ion batteries (SIBs). The NbSSe nanoplates demonstrate a high reversible capacity of 136 mAh g−1 at 0 °C and maintain 92.67% capacity retention after 500 cycles at 0.2 C, showcasing improved electrochemical performance compared to traditional anode materials.
