The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has announced an increase in the Dearness Allowance for its employees from 34% to 38%, effective from July 1, 2022, following government orders. The allowance will be calculated based on the Basic Pay as per the 7th CPC and will not be considered part of the pay for certain regulations. The additional expenditure will be covered by the budget allocated for staff payments in the financial year 2022-23.
