What is Biografi Singkat Ir. Soekarno about?

Soekarno was the first president of Indonesia. He was born in 1901 in Surabaya and helped found the nationalist party PNI to fight for Indonesian independence from Dutch colonial rule. Soekarno was imprisoned for his nationalist activities but continued his fight for independence. During the Japanese occupation, he established organizations to advocate for the Indonesian people. On August 17, 1945, Soekarno proclaimed Indonesian independence and became its first president, ruling for 22 years until 1967.
