What is Understanding about?

This lesson plan teaches 7th grade students about the concept of "the enemy" as part of a unit on good versus evil. The lesson uses a clip from the film "The Incredibles" to show how an enemy is constructed in popular culture. Students will learn definitions and vocabulary related to enemies, discuss how enemies are portrayed, and complete comprehension activities and homework analyzing enemy characters. The goal is for students to understand how enemies are defined and constructed in different contexts.
