This study investigates the distribution of total nitrogen (TN) in the A and B soil horizons of Acrisols, Cambisols, and Ferralsols in the tropical highlands of Cameroon. Results indicate that TN is significantly influenced by factors such as parent material, land use, precipitation, and slope gradient, with higher concentrations found in surface horizons. The findings contribute to understanding soil fertility and nitrogen cycling in humid tropical environments.
