What is Tizio Black Lamp Technical Overview about?

The Tizio Black table lamp was designed in 2008 by RichardSapper. It is constructed of polycarbonate with adjustable counterbalanced arms and head. The innovation is that the 230/240V or 12V transformer in the base powers a halogen lamp through rods and buttons, allowing electrical current to pass without cables. It has a dimmable 8W LED lamp that provides 400 lumens of warm white light.
