This study evaluated the diagnostic performance of fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC), Ziehl–Neelsen (ZN) stain, fluorescence microscopy (FM), and cartridge-based nucleic acid amplification test (CBNAAT) in patients suspected of tuberculous lymphadenitis (TBLN). Out of 255 patients, 148 were diagnosed with TBLN, with CBNAAT showing the highest positivity rate at 67.57%, and the combination of ZN stain, FM, and CBNAAT detecting 88.51% of cases.
