What is When You Wear the Blue 4 about?
It is 1997 and a High Court Judge concludes a public enquiry with the verdict that the Metropolitan Police is 'unconsciously racist'. When Chris Pritchard finds racist material planted in his desk, no matter that he is entirely innocent, the experienced DS realises the discovery has the potential to end his career. This incident however is soon overshadowed when a colleague's car is found abandoned near a popular suicide spot. Events quickly escalate and DS Pritchard and his team must choose between their loyalty to a teammate who is in desperate need of their help and their allegiance to the Metropolitan Police. Jonathan Cox was a police officer for over thirty years; from 1988 to 1990 he served at Tottenham police station.
