This study investigated the tyrosinase inhibitory activity of ethanol extracts of Petiveria alliacea (singawalang) leaves and roots. The leaf extract contained alkaloids, tannins, and terpenoids while the root extract contained alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, and terpenoids.
