This study investigates the effects of a one-time biochar application on crop yields across three cropping cycles in Ghana, focusing on maize, okra, and cassava. Results indicate that while biochar alone did not significantly enhance yields in the first two cycles, it improved cassava yield in the third cycle and increased overall crop yields when combined with compost or NPK fertilizer. The findings suggest that biochar can enhance soil fertility and crop productivity when applied alongside other amendment
